Week 15: Sprint 7 Week 1

CPD Final VIVA, Jira Board, SMB ASG2 BETA

On the first week of Sprint 7, we presented our Concept Development (CPD) final presentation regarding our capstone project.

This is what we have for our concept presented in week 15.

If you look through our slides, you will be able to see our concept design, the 3D assets of our application, our app's intended selling points, the research that went into it and our physical children's storybook.

To start off our Sprint 7, we decided to assign tasks and user stories to the Jira board together as a group.

We each look through our project backlog and decide our own work progress by looking through the Jira Sprint list and discuss as a group. Some of the user stories and task were carried over from the previous sprint, Sprint 6, for things that needs further work on or we haven't completed.

We had a consultation about our Jira board and our progress with Ms Christina and was informed that we were supposed to have 8 sprints inclusive of the break sprint. We followed the CPD slides that stated the Sprint duration and timeline for all modules and found out that the break sprint was not compulsory. It was unexpected but we could not turn back time either so we just plan to end our Jira board in week 17 for Production Management (PMT)

We had a discussion about gyroscope and how we have plans to make gyroscope actually occur in another scene while the AR contains a button to lead to another scene in one of our standup meetings. It is one of our main issues as gyroscope and AR does not go well together from our experience.

We also worked on our digital marketing campaign for our studio and our products as part of Social Media & Branding (SMB) Assignment 2. Below are our BETA slides which shows a basic outline for our social media campaign.
